Our Mission Statement....
Salvation cannot be earned, deserved, or worked for! Salvation is all by Grace. God the Father planned it, God the Son provided it by His person and work on the cross, and God the Holy Spirit reveals it. Therefore, the triune God did all the work necessary! The unbeliever must receive this free gift of salvation through faith.
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; (Ephesians 2:8)
And they said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your household." (Acts 16:31)
The Word of God is to be communicated by the Pastor-Teacher following salvation. The regular intake of God's Word enables the Christian to mature spiritually and enjoy blessings from God which glorify Christ in time. The Christian is commanded to have the Mind of Christ and the only way to acquire the Mind of Christ is through the daily intake of Bible teaching.
And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. (Acts 5:42)
and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no man. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:10-16)
And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
The only requirements for membership at Grace Bible Church are: Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and agreeing to be governed by our church constitution.
for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. (1 Corinthians 14:33)
But let all things be done properly and in an orderly manner. (1 Corinthians 14:40)
Giving at Grace Bible Church is for Christians only and is based upon grace-orientation as God has prospered you.
On the first day of every week let each one of you put aside and save, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come. (1 Corinthians 16:2)
