Thomas Tyree, Jr. was Pastor-Teacher of Grace Bible Church of Costa Mesa, California which he founded in 1972 and taught the Word of God until he was called home to be with the Lord in 2014. Pastor Tyree received his academic preparation to use his spiritual gift of Pastor-Teacher at Biola College with graduate work at Talbot Theological Seminary. Prior to completing his theological training, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
With his academic training, Pastor Tyree teaches from the Scripture based on the original languages of the Bible. Through his continual studies over 42 years, he developed a teaching style that emphasized the application of Bible truth to the believer’s spiritual way of living. Through his ministry, many have come to know the Lord and learned to utilize the grace blessings provided by God through their faith alone, in Christ alone.
Pastor Tyree always considered preaching and teaching God’s Word an inestimable privilege and faithfully endeavored to communicate Bible doctrine accurately as the divinely inspired inerrant Word of God for mankind.
